Future of Polar Bears
A Georgia University is sponsoring a lecture on the future of polar bears as the ice caps melt. Dr. Nick J. Lunn, Research Scientist with the Canadian Wildlife Service, Environment Canada, will speak at this 2007 event to raise awareness of the polar bear’s dependence on sea ice, and how globalwarming harms the species.
